National Snowmobile FoundationNSF logo

The Blue Mountain Snowdusters are affiliated with other organizations that are dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of outdoor recreation systems and to the betterment of those that occupy the 3rd rock from the sun (that would be earth, of course).  We belong to the National Snowmobile Foundation (NSF) which receives, administers and expends funds for educational, charitable and research purposes with the goal of improving public understanding of snowmobiling.

Easter Seals Easter Seals

NSF has been a corporate partner of Easter Seals since 1988, shortly after incorporation in 1987.  Credited with raising almost $2 million in the past nine years, Easter Seals raises money locally through snowmobile clubs and their state associations. The BMSD club is proud to support the Easter Seals mission. The culmination of year-long fund raising efforts by NH snowmobiling groups peaks with their participation in the annual Easter Seals "ride-ins" and "women only" rides.

New Hampshire Snowmobile AssociationNew Hampshire Snowmobile Association

In an effort to further develop, organize, and preserve the sport of snowmobiling and educate those participating in it, we fund each club member's application to the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association from the membership dues that we receive. The NHSA is an important umbrella organization for New Hampshire snowmobile clubs, dedicated to the preservation and development of the recreational trail system and the sport that many of our members enjoy.

Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests Society for the Protection of NH Forests

In 2003 BMSD and it's members made a significant contribution towards the establishment of the 453 acre Reney Memorial Forest located in Grantham, NH via a $2000 pledge to the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. BMSD's south Grantham warming hut is located on - and can be enjoyed by all those visiting - this important piece of forest land.

The Prouty

In 2008 BMSD became a true four season Outdoor Recreation Club when it expanded its charitable activities to raise money for cancer research. BMSD entered bicycle and walking teams in the 26th Annual Prouty Bike Ride/Challenge Walk to raise money for cancer research and patient services at Dartmouth-Mary Hitchcock Hospital’s Norris Cotton Research Center.  The club’s  Prouty Team has raised over $12,000 and continued to grow its membership during the first two years it  participated.  It is anticipated that the BMSD Prouty Team will significantly expand its 15 member team as well as its fund raising capacity for the 2010 Prouty Challenge.
