The Blue Mountain Snowdusters Club was around for over three decades and is known in the community for its outdoor trails system and for the friendly environment they provide. Founded in 1974 by a small group of snowmobiling enthusiasts, the club grew to become what it is today.

The Blue Mountain Snow Dusters Outdoor Recreation Club offered a variety of events suitable for every age group or any taste and caters to all those who are already members or for any new comers. They offer a friendly environment where outdoor activity lovers come together, share experiences and give back to the community as well.

When it first started out, the BMSD wanted to differentiate itself from other similar clubs in the area that were only focused on snowmobiling, and introduced cross-country skiing as a primary outdoor winter activity. And today its trails are used as snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing mountain biking, horseback riding, or hiking paths.

The club has always been dedicated to preserving and promoting its outdoor trails system so that everyone could take advantage of their beauty and the enjoyment they provide. Apart from offering everyone a chance to spend a fun time on the paths, the original founders raised awareness on the dos and don’ts of the trail system to assure that future generations would have access to the same remarkable conditions as when the BMSD first started out.

Devoted to maintaining an enjoyable experience for all, the Snowdusters invites other people with similar interests to join the fun and also help its cause. All members of the club are volunteers and no fees are paid to join, so everyone willingly submits their time to enhance the community. All members gathered whenever scheduled events took place. Usually these are club meetings, where old friends and new members unite and discuss everything related to the club and cookouts are also a part of the experience. There classes on snowmobile safety and others offered for beginners as well and different contests were held where anyone can participate.
